In the space of two short weeks, the Seniors season has taken an almighty slump and a 0-13 to 0-10 defeat to Killygarry on Sunday in Breffni saw them knocked out of this year’s senior championship. For a report and pictures, please click here.

The Juniors will be looking for better success than the Seniors when they face a trip to Killygarry in the Junior B Championship quarter-finals on Wednesday evening at 7.30pm. The winners of this will face Castlerahan in the semi’s on the 19th August.

Then on Sunday, they will face Knockbride at home at 1pm in their final league match where a victory is required to keep in the promotion chase.

Next up is the U-16 championship and Kingscourt open their campaign on Tuesday 11th August at the Quarter-Final stage where they face a tricky trip to face Division 2 league champions, Gowna.  With a number of this team part of an U-14 side that got knocked out of the championship in Gowna a couple of year back, they will be under no illusions as to the size of the task.

Should they manage to overcome Gowna, they would have a home semi-final agaisnt either Ballyhaise or Cavan Gaels, but we’ll not worry about that one just yet!

The 13’s opened their league campaign with a trip to Bailieboro tonight (Monday). For a report and pictures, please click here.  Their next match will be at home to Crosserlough on Monday 24th.
