The annual U-10 blitz took place in the Park in early November with Kingscourt, Bailieboro, Magheracloone & Shercock taking place in round robin 13 a side tournament.
After three very close rounds, with only a point or two separating sides on each occasion, Magheracloone and Bailieboro made it through to the final with Kingscourt & Shercock playing off for 3rd place.
It was the Shamrocks who won the final thanks to a couple of well-taken second half goals and received The Wishing Well Shield.
Thanks to all those who organised the day especially Pat Duffy & Raymond Cunningham who refereed the matches.
This blitz culminated a long season for the U-10s which began back in early April and featured weekly training, numerous challenge matches and blitzes. Thanks to Pat Byrne, Laurence Shekelton, Pat Duffy and Raymond Cunningham for helping out with the managing of the sides throughout the year.
We hope to see everyone back for more in 2010.
