This fine bunch of lads represented the club at Minor level in 2010.

They competed in Division Two of both league and championship under the management of Dr. John McMahon and Peter McKeown, who ably assisted by Kieran Lynch and Brendan Farrelly.

The season started back in February and after a shaky start they won four games on the bounce to reach the league final against Lacken. In that game, a dream start saw them nicely clear but they were eventually denied by a solitary point.

After the exam break, the Championship kicked in and an impressive opening win over St. Finbarrs saw them through to the semi-finals. However, the side were defeated by four points by Eire Og Celtics.

Both players and management shoudl be equally proud of themselves for the season.  A small panel was severly put to the test on a number of occasions and everyone of the players performed with huge credit and represented themselves, their family and the club with great honour.

With only five of the panel overage, we hope to see the remainder back in training in early 2011 where they can build on their 2010 efforts.  For those overage next year, hopefully they can continue to play with the club at a higher level. For more details on previous results, pelase click here.
