Kingscourt 2-8 Lacken 1-14
On a beautiful Spring morning in O’Raghallaigh Park, an understrength home side battled it out with a strong Lacken side. After a tight opening quarter, the visitors forged into a strong position and led by 0-8 to 0-3 at halftime. The young Stars kept to the task in the second half but were always up against it, however goals from Reece Mc Intyre and a Cian Mc Ardle penalty, (after James Farrelly was fouled) left just a goal between them with 10 minutes remaining but unfortunately the lads could not get any closer.
