June 2010 – Newry Blitz
The U-10′s made their annual trip up North on the Bank Holiday Saturday for the participation in the Newry Blitz. With over 40 teams involved it’s a great event for all involved.
This year saw us grouped with St. Peters (Armagh), Na Piarsigh (Antrim) & Mitchells (Down). Three competitive games saw us gain one victory and two defeats. Sadly it was not enough to progress to the knockout stages. However it was a great day for everyone and 12/17 players will be eligble again next year.
A big thanks to all who helped out on the day, in particular Colm, Shane, Michael & Aaron.
