SENIORS

The Seniors got back on track after last week’s Cavan Gaels defeat when they secured a 0-12 to 0-4 victory at home to Castlerahan on Sunday evening.  Not exactly a classic and unlikely to feature on Stars TV in the future but the win was the main thing and that was secured in a decisive manner.

Next up we have to hit the road again as we face a trip to Gowna on Thrusday evening @ 8pm.  After that we have a week off before we host Mullahoran over the opening weekend in July.

JUNIORS

On Sunday, the Juniors got back to winning ways (just!) when they overcome bottom side, Maghera, by 2-6 to 1-8.  After a couple of disappointing results recently it was exactly what was required especially with the Junior B fast coming into focus.

Next up is a trip to Ballymachugh on Sunday @ 3.30pm and then the re-arranged trip to Stradone to face Laragh Utd on Wed 23rd @ 8pm. With just two games remaining after them, the side is still very much in a relegation battle but hopefully they can build on last week’s result.

WEBSITES

The club’s FACEBOOK page continues to prove popular with club updates regularly uploaded.  Details for the regional hurling are also available on East Cavan Hurling’s page.

As for the plain old-fashioned website – www.kingscourtstars.ie this continues to be updated with all the results, fixtures, tables etc.. for all the teams and is still well worth a visit.

 FANTASY FOOTBALL

The club’s Ulster Championship Fantasy Football competition is well under way with Barry Reilly now leading the way after Week 4. For full listings, please click here.

Good Luck to all the club members who are currently involved in the Junior & Leaving Cert exams.
