LIVE STREAMING

After plenty of preparation the club is proud to announce that our first live match on the website will take place this week when the minors play Corduff Gaels in a challenge match. The match throws in at 8pm on Tuesday evening in what will be the first ever time a live GAA match will be streamed on a club website in Ulster.

So, with the World Cup now over and if you are looking for something to wipe the memory of the final from your mind why not log onto www.kingscourtstars.ie on Tuesday and have a look. We guarantee more excitement than that Final and also no controversial tries will be scored….

SENIORS

After a little break the Seniors resume action on Wednesday evening when they face Mullahoran in O’Raghallaigh Park at 8pm. With the visitors challenging strongly towards the top of the table it will be a big test for the side as they look to remain at the top of the table. On Saturday evening at 8pm they then make the short trip to Mullagh to play Cuchullains in the league in their final league match before the Championship starts the following Saturday, also against Cuchullains.

JUNIORS

The Juniors finished of the league season with a 2-13 to 0-10 defeat away to Arva on Sunday evening. This defeat sees them finish joint second last with Killygarry on seven points. While we have the worse score difference I ain’t sure whether that comes into play or not. So it would appear that we are either relegated or in a play-off with Killygarry to avoid relegation.

Hopefully we’ll know more during the week. However, the Juniors will continue training in preparation for the Junior B when they host Gowna in 1st round on Wednesday 8th August.

MINORS

As mentioned the above, the minors will make history this week when they take part in the first ever live streaming match on the club website when they host Corduff Gaels on Tuesday night at 8pm. This match is the start of their preparation for the Championship opener away to St. Finbarrs on Monday 2nd August.

UNDERAGE

The 16s suffered defeat in their championship opener at the weekend when they went down by 1-7 to 0-9 to St. Finbarrs. A disappointing ending the a promising season but well done to the team for their efforts throughout the year.

The 13s made it four out of four with a hard fought win in a wet O’Raghallaigh Park on Thursday night. Despite conceding two early goals the young Stars battled back to lead 3-1 to 2-2 at halftime. Again though, the Ballyduff side started the second half strong to regain the lead put a late Sean Burke penalty sealed the victory and a semi final spot with a game to go.
