Kingscourt 7-8  Ballyhaise 1-2

This folks is where it all started, the springboard to an era of unprecedented success for the club.  As for the game itself. Well the forwards evidently went goal crazy, and just look at same of the names; Dillon, McCaul, Reilly (so good he seemingly played two positions at the same time!) to name but a few. 

It must truely have been an awesome display given that despite the 24 point hiding, six of the Ballyhaise side played welll, including the goalkeeper!!  Also, looks like the Celt Headline Editor had as bad a day as Ballyhaise….
