The four in a row may have eluded us this year but that doens’t mean that we didn’t hand out some beatings.  Some notable things from this Quarter Final victory:

  • To our younger viewers, that’s not a typo, there was a time back a while back when the Gaels would have receiving such Championship beatings, and not inflicting them….
  • Brother’s United – An All-McCormack Half Forward Line, not to forget the two Faulkners as well
  • Again to our younger viewers, our current Senior keeper was pretty handy up the field. Also, bear in mind, that’s 18 years back, probably a few of this year’s senior team not walking by that stage!!

Sadly the dream ended soon after, a semi-final defeat to Bailieboro I think.
