In March 2011, Karen Byrne organised a “Shave or Dye” event in Murtagh’s Bar in conjunction with the annual Today FM fundraiser for The Irish Cancer Society. Ahead of this, she managed to convince around a dozen or so (and perhaps more on the night) of the Senior & Junior panel to take part in the event.

MC’d by ex-Senior Manager, Dudley Farrell, a great night’s craic unfolded and between the fundraising on the night and over the next couple of weeks, over €5,800 was raised. Well done to all involved.
