Kingscourt 0-7       Ballyhaise 0-7

The Minors retained their unbeaten league start at the weekend with a battling point gained in a 0-7 to 0-7 draw against Ballyhaise on Saturday afternoon down the park.  In tough conditions, scores were at a premium throughout the game and the visitors lead 0-4 to 0-3 at halftime.  The game continued with little in it throughout the second half, and when Kingscourt were reduced to 13 men the game looked lost.  However, tremendous spirit was shown by the young Stars, and a Terry Reilly point salvaged a share of the spoils, and keeps the side in contention for the semi-finals.

Next up is a visit to Bailieboro next Saturday and a match against Killan Gaels.  Throw in is probably 12 noon, but sure bring a few empty bottles & tins with you and if it’s changed you can nip down to the recycling centre and do your bit for the environment while you wait for 2pm!
