Kingscourt’s 100% record in this year’s U-16 League is still going after their fifth win on the spin. However, it’s not getting any easier as they dug out a narrow victory by 1-7 to 1-5.
Despite playing against the wind, it was the Gaels who lead at half time 1-3 to 0-4. However, like the Gaels, we seemed to relish playing agaisnt the conditions and held the home side to just 0-2 while we chalked up 1-3 to get the two point victory.
A great team performance all round and all the team played well. Any day you go to Terry Coyle Park and come away with a win is a good day.
