The Girls U-12s opened their league campaign with a great 1-8 to 1-2 victory over Laragh Utd on Monday evening in the park. Played in blistering heat, both sides put in a great performance but a Michelle Lynch goal helped the “Starettes” to the victory. Apologies for the poor quality of the pictures. My camera is Irish, and does not cope well with extreme sunshine!!
The girls should be in action each Sunday evening for the next five weeks as they play their league matches, both home and away in the group with Shercock, Cuchullains & Laragh.
