Denn had Kingscourt as visitors for this ACFL Division Four encounter at St.Matthews Park, Crosskeys last Sunday.
Both sides had wides in the opening minutes before Kingscourt opened the scoring in the second minute with a point from Joe McCarthy. Kingscourt extended their lead with points from Seanie Farrelly and Drew McCabe with Joe McCarthy getting his second point in the 10th minute. Denn got on the scoreboard in the 15th minute following a pointed free from Cian McCann. The home side followed up with a point from Feraghal Farrelly.
Kingscourt extended their lead with a point from Darryl Martin. Denn responded with a point from Cian McCann to cut the deficit again. Kingscourt then began to exert their dominance and got a goal in the 23rd minute from Pauric Cuningham and followed up with points from Seanie Farrelly and James Cuningham.
Cian McCann got a point for the home side from a free in the 28th minute. Kingscourt added two more points before the half time break with scores from Joe McCarthy and from a free from Drew McCarthy.
Denn opened the scoring in the second half with a point from Feraghal Farrelly in the 1st minute. After each side exchanged wides, Kingscort got their second goal of the match in the 7th minute when Pauric Cuningham found the net.
Denn responded with a point from Martin McGovern. In the next 8 minutes Kingscourt added to their tally with points from Darryl Martin and Drew McCabe (2).Gary Martin got a point in the 21st minute for the home side. And they were awarded a penalty in the 25th minute which was converted by Feraghal Farrelly.
Drew McCabe got two more points for Kingscourt in the 26th after Denn goalkeeper saved an almost certain goal and 28th minute to wrap up the game for them. Denn got a consolation goal from Martin McGovern in the 29th minute and Feraghal Farrelly got the last point of the game for the home side.
